Volunteers are a crucial part of the band program and we literally can’t do it without you!

In order to volunteer for the band, you MUST be an approved Nixa Public Schools Volunteer.

Bus Parent – Chaperone students on buses as we travel to band competitions. (Background check with fingerprinting required).
Band Hospitality – Feed the Band: Setup, serve, and clean up meals before home football games and during competitions.
Band Hydration – Water the Band: Setup, serve, and clean up the water station before home football games and during competitions.
Hospitality room – Set up and maintain hospitality area for our judges, clinicians, and/or directors at events and games.
Kettle Korn – Set up Kettle Korn table and sell during home football games.
Fundraising – Set up, advertise, and run a fundraiser.
Fundraising – Assist with Fundraising Deliveries: Unload the truck, load cars, organize product, etc.
Concessions – Set up, sales, cooking, stocking and clean up of concessions for band events. (Xhibition and Winter Guard)
Prop Construction – Skills in carpentry, welding, and general maintenace/repair knowledge is helpful.
Field Equipment Crew – Push Props on/off the field during games and at competions (Travel is required)
Equipment Loading – Load and unload trucks before and after every event that doesn’t happen at Eagle Stadium.
Uniforms – Help sort, hang, log and distribute uniforms in the fall.
