will i see my student on compeition day?
Of course you’ll get to see your student (and the entire band) during their performance, but you are also more than welcome to visit the Nixa area during their down time to serve food, help in other ways and connect with other band families.
what do parents wear to competitions?
This year’s show shirt, Nixa band merch, or any Nixa wearable you have. Comfortable shoes! Parking can be a hike from the stadium.
how can i help?
Just say yes! Show up! Loading the trailers takes a lot of hands and many volunteers have already been trained on specific tasks (like equipment and prop loading). But if you’re available to help load food and drinks, please come up to the loading dock and raise your hand and contact the Band Boosters. Other ways to help throughout the year can be found here.
Have another question? Feel free to email the Band Boosters.
